When you yearn for something, the journey of waiting is often marked by hesitation and uncertainty, This tension gives rise to a spectrum of artistic attitudes, from melancholy and subdued optimism to a reflective detachment that contemplates the process itself. 

The exhibition title, In the mood of longing, captures this intricate emotional landscape while also showcasing the distinctive creative traits of japan's emerging contemporary artists. Their works often convey a beauty that is neither extreme nor over powering, but delicately infused with a melancholic undertone,gently balanced by a subtle brightness.
